I agree, problem is the bailout plan has already been approved and the politicians that approved it are already lining their pockets. It is the taxpayer themselves who will suffer from these “bailout” tactics. The taxpayer is being blamed for the falling economy and this is one of several ways we will suffer for it. Politicians are not going to blame the oil industry that makes billions of dollars profit every quarter, they will point the finger at us for not being so willing to be raped at the pump. Our reduced spending is now hurting the world, think about that now. The average joe smoe decides to reduce his spending and this puts the world economy into turmoil. Now you would think that the oil industry could cure this problem with its vast wealth, but noooo!!! They instead are cutting production to raise the price of oil again . Now, if you shoot yourself in one foot, are you going to shoot the other foot too so you can stop the bleeding????
